South Kivu: MSF strengthens response to measles and cholera in Shabunda despite access difficulties

In the Shabunda territory, over 260,000 people are exposed to measles and cholera outbreaks, with 1,002 cholera cases and 7,620 measles cases reported since July 3, 2026. Dr. Didier Butara from MSF emphasizes that limited access to clean water and sanitation worsens the situation.
