South South Govs to engage Tinubu on critical infrastructure deficiencies

The six governors from the South South geopolitical zone of Nigeria have resolved to meet with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to discuss regional concerns, particularly regarding infrastructure and environmental development. During their meeting in Calabar, they emphasized the need to rehabilitate and modernize the Calabar, Port Harcourt, and Warri seaports, as well as regional rail development. They also reaffirmed their commitment to Tinubu's re-election in the 2027 presidential election.
