Spain coach set to sign new deal after World Cup victory – Reports

Spain's national team coach, Luis de la Fuente, is set to sign a new contract that will keep him in charge until the 2030 World Cup. At 65, he has led Spain to major titles, including Euro 2024 and the 2026 World Cup. Since taking over in December 2022, Spain has lost only twice in 41 competitive matches. The new agreement will allow De la Fuente to defend the world title in 2030 when Spain co-hosts the tournament with Portugal and Morocco.
