Spain: Passengers Disembark from Ship Affected by Hantavirus

Passengers began disembarking from the MV Hondius, a cruise ship anchored off Tenerife, Spain, after being affected by hantavirus. Authorities arranged for their transport to a medical center for quarantine. The Health Minister specified that only Spanish nationals would be quarantined in Spain, while part of the crew and the body of a deceased passenger would remain on board. The ship will then head to Rotterdam for disinfection.
