Spotify rolls out badge to distinguish human artists from AI

Spotify has introduced a new verification system to help listeners distinguish human musicians from AI-generated content. The 'Verified by Spotify' badge, marked with a green checkmark, will appear on artist profiles and in search results. To earn verification, artists must demonstrate sustained listener engagement and comply with platform rules. Over 99% of artists actively searched by listeners will be verified at launch.
