The Ijaw, Itsekiri, and Urhobo ethnic groups have embraced renewed peace after tensions over INEC's delineation of the Warri Federal Constituency. Governor Sheriff Oborevwori was praised for his impartial mediation. The Niger Delta Concerned Stakeholders for Accountable Security and Progress, led by Enisuo Oruomoni, urged converting the peace into tangible development, warning that peace without development would not last.
