Cameroon’s government ordered CFAF 140.6 billion in 2025 for equity stakes and rehabilitation or restructuring operations, compared with CFAF 15 billion budgeted. The budget execution report published on November 2, 2026, by the Directorate General of the Budget said spending exceeded the original appropriations by CFAF 125.6 billion. Equity stakes accounted for CFAF 61.1 billion, while rehabilitation and restructuring operations used CFAF 79.5 billion. The combined total was CFAF 12.1 billion, or 9.4%, higher than in 2024, mainly because rehabilitation and restructuring spending increased.
