'State-sponsored persecution' - Turaki PDP faults unsealing of secretariat

The Tanimu Turaki-led faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) described the Police as partisan following the unsealing of the party's national secretariat in Abuja. In a statement, the National Working Committee (NWC) announced plans to take legal action against this move. On March 9, the Court of Appeal ruled in favor of the Wike-backed camp, invalidating the November 16 Ibadan convention. The Turaki group expressed hope that state-sponsored persecution would end and true democratic experience would return.
