Prikro: Coffee farming revival and maize promotion launched in Iffou

Ouloto Tiédé Manuel conducted a prospecting tour in Prikro, in the Iffou region, on October 23 and 24, 2026. The mission aims to explore reviving coffee farming, once an important activity in the area, and expanding maize production. These crops could diversify local agriculture, raise producers’ incomes and strengthen food security. Particular attention is being given to employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for rural youth and women.
