‘Stop your rants, go sort your mess’: APC hits back at ADC over court ruling

The All Progressives Congress (APC) urged the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to resolve its leadership crisis instead of accusing the ruling party of influencing the judiciary. In a statement on Friday, APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka said the party was not involved in the dispute, which was brought by ADC officials challenging David Mark and his allies’ takeover of the party. Justice Peter Lifu of the Federal High Court in Abuja removed Mark’s leadership and invalidated executive decisions, including the ADC’s presidential primary processes and outcomes, affecting Atiku Abubakar’s candidacy. Morka advised the ADC to appeal through legal channels and questioned its ability to govern Nigeria.
