Stormers unleash big guns for Champions Cup opener

The Stormers announced a strong squad for their Champions Cup opener against the Bristol Bears at DHL Stadium on Saturday, aiming to generate more interest by releasing the team earlier than usual. Head coach John Dobson stated the move was to attract fans and boost team confidence, as South African teams have yet to reach the semi-finals of the competition, with their best performance being a quarter-final appearance in 2022/23. The Stormers are determined to approach this campaign differently and improve their European record.
