Strait of Hormuz: Iran Sets Conditions for the US for Reopening

Maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz remains suspended as Iran has set three conditions for Washington to resume navigation. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Iranian Parliament Speaker, stated that these conditions include the cessation of military hostilities, the unfreezing of Iranian assets abroad, and the end of the US naval blockade. These demands were communicated through mediators, including Qatar, while a Pakistani delegation is set to visit Tehran for mediation efforts.
