Structural Transformation of the Economy: Dutch Companies Target the Ivorian Maritime Sector

Eight Dutch companies undertook a mission to Côte d'Ivoire from April 20 to 24, 2026, to structure maritime projects and strengthen the country as a regional hub. The delegation, led by Ambassador Jeroen Kelderhuis, met with Ivorian ministers, including Yacouba Hien Sié and Amadou Koné, to discuss sustainable port development and intermodality at the Autonomous Port of Abidjan. Participants included Boskalis and Damen Shipyards, with the initiative aimed at enhancing the country's maritime infrastructure.
