The UN condemned drone attacks on civilians and infrastructure across Sudan. In Abyei, a region disputed by Sudan and South Sudan, a strike on Amiet market reportedly killed at least 28 civilians, while another attack on a market in Al Dibab, West Kordofan, was said to have killed dozens. A local official also reported that a strike on Amiet market hit a nearby fuel depot, killing at least 153 people and causing a fire that was still burning on Tuesday. A local Abyei official blamed the Sudanese army, but the motive and perpetrator of the attacks could not be independently verified.
