Sunday Falae accuses Ondo Central senator of ‘abandoning’ constituents

Sunday Falae, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the Ondo Central Senate seat, says the incumbent senator has failed to represent constituents adequately. He says complaints from residents across the district’s six local government areas prompted his candidacy and called for the senator to be replaced in the 2027 election. The former APC member criticised the gap between campaign promises and legislative performance, and said past empowerment programmes were poorly designed, citing a woman who sold a grinding machine because she could not transport it home. Falae describes his campaign as a “Rainbow Coalition” that includes local PDP supporters; the party did not field a senatorial candidate and has adopted him.
