Super Eagles: Igoh Ogbu undergoes successful surgery

Nigerian defender Igoh Ogbu has successfully undergone surgery after rupturing his Achilles tendon during an international friendly against Portugal. His club, Slavia Prague, says he will be sidelined for three months, missing the start of next season. Ogbu had played three consecutive matches for the Super Eagles before the injury, including in the Unity Cup invitational tournament.
