Super Eagles: It's foolishness - Odemwingie slams Ighalo over Osimhen transfer advice

Former Super Eagles forward, Peter Osaze Odemwingie, criticized Odion Ighalo for advising Victor Osimhen to leave European football for the Saudi Pro League. Ighalo had suggested in 2025 that Osimhen could spend two years in Saudi Arabia, secure his financial future, and then return to Europe. Osimhen ultimately decided to join Galatasaray permanently, prompting Odemwingie to call the advice foolish and emphasize that playing in Europe is the best choice for a player in his prime.
