Super Falcons: Abiodun to miss rest of season with injury

Deborah Abiodun will miss the remainder of the season due to injury, according to her National Women’s Soccer League club, Washington Spirit. The 22-year-old midfielder is expected to undergo surgery this week and has been moved from the 45-day injury list to the season-ending injury list. Abiodun has made nine appearances this season and will also miss both legs of Nigeria’s 2028 Olympic Games qualifiers against Comoros next month.
