Supporters of the Cockroach People's Party hold protest in New Delhi

Hundreds of supporters of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), a satirical Indian social media movement, gathered in New Delhi on Saturday near parliament, demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan following exam irregularities in May. The party, inspired by Chief Justice Surya Kant's comment calling critical youth "cockroaches," has amassed over 22.2 million Instagram followers. Protesters wore cockroach masks and carried books symbolizing the right to education.
