Surulere stakeholders to Gbajabiamila: Don’t impose Desmond Elliot for 4th term

A coalition of Surulere stakeholders has urged Femi Gbajabiamila not to impose Desmond Elliot for a fourth term in the Lagos State House of Assembly. The group, known as the Surulere Accountability Front, criticized Elliot's 11 years in office as a wasted opportunity marked by underperformance and detachment from grassroots realities. They called for a transparent process to allow a new, community-rooted candidate to emerge.
