Suspected kidnappers allegedly kill two, injure one in Edo, community sends SOS to Okpebholo

Three individuals were abducted on August 31, 2026, along the Ebelle-Amughe Road in the Okpekpe community, Edo State. The kidnappers demanded a ransom of 30 million Naira, but only 3 million Naira was delivered before two victims were killed and one escaped with gunshot wounds. The Okpekpe community is mourning and is calling for urgent action to address the growing insecurity in the area.
