Suspected vehicle theft kingpin arrested in Ogun

The Ogun State Police Command arrested 28-year-old Mosuru Issa, a suspected vehicle theft kingpin, and recovered a stolen Toyota Camry along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Issa was apprehended during a routine stop-and-search operation after the vehicle's occupants fled upon seeing the police. Preliminary investigations revealed that the vehicle had been stolen on September 7, 2026, from Ojoo, Lagos. Efforts are ongoing to locate the vehicle's owner and apprehend the two other occupants who escaped.
