Suspicion of theft of the Minister's glasses: REDHAC speaks out to defend journalists

REDHAC and its Cameroon Coalition express concern over the arrest of four journalists, François Essomba, Igor Gwet Bibey, Solange Djuikam, and Pierre Mouchili, on September 16 while covering an event in Yaoundé. Accused of stealing glasses belonging to Minister Alamine Ousmane Mey, they were detained and allegedly faced violence during their arrest. REDHAC calls for their immediate release and condemns violations of journalists' rights in Cameroon.
