Syria says blast at military site in Deir Az Zor killed 11

Eleven soldiers were killed in an explosion at a military site in Syria's eastern province of Deir Az Zor, according to the Ministry of Defence. The blast occurred at a weapons cache in Ayyash, and nine other soldiers were wounded. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the explosion, which is the second at a Syrian military site in less than two weeks.
