Taï: A church launches the oral translation of the Bible in Oubi language

The 'International Mission King of Kings' Church launched an oral translation program of the Bible into the Oubi language on April 8, 2026, in Taï. This initiative aims to make the biblical message accessible to local populations, considering the low literacy levels in some rural areas. The project also extends to other local languages, such as Gbo'o, Za'a, and Dao do, to reach multiple communities. Carole Gouléhi, the head of the Oubi exegetes team, emphasizes the importance of orality in valuing and preserving the Oubi language.
