Take steps immediately - Rivers Assembly tasks Gov Fubara as flood take over places

The Rivers State House of Assembly has urged Governor Siminalayi Fubara to take urgent measures to address flooding affecting communities across the state. Speaker Martins Amaewhule visited flood-ravaged areas and called on the government to act quickly, emphasizing that much more needs to be done to assist the people. Persistent rainfall in areas including Port Harcourt and Obio/Akpor has caused many houses to be submerged.
