Tanzania: Reduction of Presidential Convoys Due to Fuel Shortage

Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan announced a reduction in presidential convoys due to the fuel crisis caused by the war in Iran. Official and luxury cars will remain in the garage, and members of her delegation will use minibuses for their travels. Tanzania has fuel reserves that can last up to three months, but several African countries, including Madagascar and Zambia, have also implemented austerity measures in response to the energy crisis.
