Tax Directorate General: ANADGI welcomes appointments and calls for retirees to leave

In a statement issued in Abidjan on October 15, 2026, ANADGI welcomed recent appointments at the Directorate General of Taxes, saying they recognize merit and could improve the administration’s results. The union called for further promotions, including to positions such as head of the control office, head of the domain and registration office, and head of a verification brigade, based on merit, seniority, and career profile. It also launched the third season of Operation KABADOUGOU to secure the effective departure of staff who have reached retirement age but remain in their posts. ANADGI says their continued presence slows team renewal and limits younger employees’ advancement.
