Telecom subscriptions hit 192.2m, teledensity rises to 88.67% — NCC

Nigeria's active telecom subscriptions rose to 192.23 million in June 2026, with a teledensity of 88.67%. Broadband penetration also increased to 56.79%, while internet subscriptions slightly declined to 156.86 million. MTN Nigeria remains the market leader with 98.64 million subscribers, followed by Airtel and Globacom.
