Telecoms: ZTE Cameroon doubles losses to 1.49 billion FCFA despite 71% increase in revenue

ZTE Cameroon’s subsidiary recorded a net loss of 17.72 million yuan (approximately 1.49 billion FCFA) in 2024, doubling from 8.44 million yuan (711 million FCFA) in 2023. Despite a 70.9% increase in revenue to 20.61 million yuan (1.74 billion FCFA), its losses grew by 110%, with negative equity at the end of the fiscal year. The financial report states that increased sales did not prevent the worsening of financial results.
