Territorial Poles in Benin: Wadagni's Plans for the 77 Municipalities

Six territorial poles will be established in Benin in the coming months, each led by a Resident General Delegate who must reside in their area. These officials will conduct regular field visits, report obstacles and progress to central authorities, with an initial review after one year. The initiative aims to reduce extreme poverty, strengthen human capital, and promote local wealth creation, focusing on farmers, herders, and fish farmers. Wadagni urged local officials to invest in their regions' development and improve cleanliness and public space management.
