“Territories & the Future”: Seven territories mobilized to reduce regional disparities

Africa One Forums concluded its “Territories & the Future” tour in Abidjan on October 16, 2026, after twelve days of exchanges across seven Ivorian territories: Tchologo, Korhogo, Bouaké, Yamoussoukro, San-Pédro, Assinie and Abidjan. Public officials, local authorities, investors, financial institutions and experts discussed territorial attractiveness, urban centers and housing. Kouakou Kouadio Clément, representing the Minister of Planning and Development, said reducing regional disparities is central to the 2026–2030 National Development Plan. Africa One Forums plans to submit a memorandum compiling local stakeholders’ proposals to the authorities in November 2026.
