The federal government resumed the prosecution of over 500 alleged terrorists, including Shehu Bukar, sentenced to 20 years for selling goats to Boko Haram in Borno State. Hamza Yahuza, a father of six, received a seven-year sentence for supplying Indian hemp and cigarettes to terrorists. Both sentences were handed down by Judge Binta Nyako, who rejected their pleas for leniency.
