Terrorism: US commends FG over convictions of 386 Islamist militants

The United States commended the Nigerian government for expediting terrorism-related trials, following the conviction of 386 suspects in a special court in Abuja. U.S. Senior Advisor Massad Boulos emphasized the importance of efficient and transparent judicial processes in strengthening public trust in the legal system. Attorney General Lateef Fagbemi noted that these convictions were part of efforts to address the backlog of terrorism cases and accelerate justice delivery.
