Terrorists defy govt curfew to attack Plateau communities — NBA alleges

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Plateau State has accused terrorists of attacking communities despite government-imposed curfews. During a joint press conference, the NBA reported attacks in Mangu, Barkin Ladi, Riyom, and Bokkos, resulting in deaths and displacements, criticizing the government's inadequate protection. Community vigilantes in Kikyo were killed during their duty hours, and other attacks were reported in several villages. The NBA urges stronger security measures, improved border surveillance, better coordination among security agencies, and prosecution of those responsible.
