Thailand: Morocco Loses Visa Exemption, 20 Other Countries Affected

Starting September 15, 2026, Moroccan nationals will need a visa to travel to Thailand, as Morocco is one of 21 countries removed from the visa exemption regime. This change follows longstanding bilateral relations between Morocco and Thailand, which have been strengthened by recent diplomatic exchanges. Moroccan travelers will now need to apply for an electronic visa through the Thai e-Visa system before their arrival.
