‘That’s not going to happen’ – Carrick rules out resigning as Man United boss

Michael Carrick ruled out resigning despite Manchester United dropping into the Premier League relegation zone. United twice fought back from two goals down to draw 4-4 with Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Sunday, with stoppage-time goals from Joshua Zirkzee and Patrick Dorgu securing a point. Carrick acknowledged that the team had not won enough games but said he expected to keep working and believed the club could turn things around. United’s next match is away to Liverpool on November 22, after the international break.
