The Beacon: "Humanitarian Crisis in DRC: Government Relaunches CNCH"

The first annual meeting of the National Humanitarian Coordination Framework (CNCH) took place on April 9, 2026, in Kinshasa, gathering all stakeholders involved in responding to crises in the DRC. Prime Minister Judith Suminwa highlighted the severity of the situation, including ongoing security crises, mass displacements, and difficulties accessing essential services. She called for a deep reform of the CNCH to enhance coordination and effectiveness of humanitarian aid. Measures were proposed to ensure continuity of social services and to lift obstacles to humanitarian operations.
