The National Youth Council (CNJ) has committed to continuing the 'Pedals for Peace' project initiated by cyclist Miguel Masaisai, who died on September 18 in Congo-Brazzaville. During a vigil in Kinshasa, CNJ president Claude Mbuyi called for an annual competition in Masaisai's name, organized by the Congolese Cycling Federation. He also announced that Masaisai's cycling gear will be preserved at the National Museum or the Genocide Memorial, and praised the involvement of the relevant ministers in repatriating his body.
