The Confessions of the Young Guinean, O. Souaré (12 years old): "Why I Killed Serigne Fallou Gueye"

A 12-year-old boy, O. Souaré, confessed to stabbing and killing 11-year-old Serigne Fallou Guèye during an altercation in the Montagne neighborhood in Louga. Souaré, who bought a knife, said he acted after being attacked by a group of youths and wanted to defend himself. The victim was taken to the hospital but died from his injuries. The investigation is ongoing under the prosecutor's supervision.
