The Downfall of Mikayil Ngor Faye, Former Senegalese Starlet of Barcelona

22-year-old Mikayil Ngor Faye, once a promising talent from Barcelona, is now on loan at Nuremberg after a disappointing stint at Cremonese where he only played 250 minutes last season. Transferred from FC Barcelona in summer 2024 for around 10 million euros, he only made 12 appearances for Stade Rennais before his loan difficulties. Nuremberg's coach Miroslav Klose praises his technical skills and remains hopeful about his future playing opportunities.
