The IMF and Senegal seal a $2.2 billion agreement

In Dakar, IMF mission chief Mercedes Vera Martin announced a conditional agreement for a 36-month program worth approximately $2.2 billion. This agreement requires Senegal to correct false data declarations that led to the suspension of the previous program and to secure financing guarantees from its partners. The agreement still needs approval from the IMF's management and board.
