The Kiiraay meeting in Mbacké descends into chaos, officials seek refuge in a house (video)

The Kiiraay party meeting in Mbacké, intended to gather supporters and facilitate discussions with political leaders, was abruptly halted by heavy rain. Leaders including Cheikh Ndoye, Dr Abdoulaye Niane, the general delegate of DER, along with representatives of Mayor Gallo Ba and the Ageroute, quickly sought shelter in a house. Prior to this event, Dr Niane had led an activity focused on supporting people with disabilities in Mbacké, reaffirming DER's commitment to their economic initiatives.
