From September 7 to 9, 2026, experts gathered in Kunming, China, to discuss gaps in the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Framework for Biodiversity. The dialogue, co-chaired by Huang Runqiu and Nathalie Provost, emphasized the need to accelerate progress ahead of COP 17 in Yerevan, scheduled for October 19-30.
