The President of the Kananga High Court and Several Magistrates Acquitted by the Kananga Court of Appeal

The President of the Kananga High Court, Bope Buana, and several magistrates accused of forgery were acquitted on September 29 by the Kasaï-Central Court of Appeal. They regained their freedom after ten days of preventive detention, in connection with a case involving a traditional chief detained over a succession dispute. The Court dismissed the forgery charges after reviewing the case files.
