The territory of Kongolo has its very first gas station

The first gas station in the territory of Kongolo, in the Tanganyika province, was inaugurated on August 29, 2026. This station, named 'Tuninge Wetu', will provide stable and secure access to fuels, thereby reducing the risks of fires associated with artisanal storage. However, coordinator Joseph Kitungwa highlights that challenges remain, particularly the inaccessibility of road infrastructure, especially with the rainy season approaching.
