The World's first 'Bird Song' gets released globally

BirdLife International has released 'The Global Birdsong,' the world's first Afro-electronic composition featuring recordings of birdsong from over 100 countries. The track is available on major digital platforms and aims to connect landscapes, cultures, and people worldwide by using natural bird sounds. It is part of the Sounds Right Initiative led by the Museum for The United Nations (UN Live) and EarthPercent to promote nature conservation. The song was created by musician Timothy Arinaitwe and sound artist DJ Axel Wild, who turned bird calls into musical instruments.
