Tarmac des Auteurs in Kinshasa begins its 2026-2027 theatre season on October 16 with « La Dernière Nuit du Raïs », an adaptation of Yasmina Khadra's novel directed by Laetitia Ajanohun. The play, led by Israel Tshipamba, depicts the final hours of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011, examining the fall of his regime and international responsibilities. It encourages reflection on power, accountability, and geopolitical issues surrounding the collapse of the Libyan regime.
