There is no split in MAGA

As the midterm elections approach, Jason Jones rejects the idea that the MAGA coalition that helped elect Donald Trump in 2024 is splitting apart. He describes it as an alliance of groups often set against one another, including social conservatives, devout Christians and Muslims, Quakers, disaffected leftists and young first-time voters. Jones says they united around a desire to break with Washington’s policies on borders, overseas wars and the neglect of the vulnerable. He argues the coalition remains largely intact, though the excerpt ends before he explains what is happening instead.
