Thiès: A grand performance by the majorettes of Malick Sy high school (video)

The celebration of Senegal's Independence Day began in Thiès with a civil parade led by the majorettes of Malick Sy high school at 10:30 AM. A total of 25 civil formations and 1,293 participants, along with 1,174 students from military training schools and 3,358 military and paramilitary personnel, took part in the event. The ceremony, expected to last three hours, also includes a motorized and aerial component featuring 11 aircraft, 265 vehicles, and 106 motorcyclists.
